Office of the Manitoba Fairness Commissioner

Applicants are re-assessed once they finish their gap training. The re-assessment should only re-test areas where the applicant did not meet standards. It should not re-test skills and knowledge that have already been demonstrated. Such duplication takes away valuable time from internationally educated professionals trying to launch their careers in Manitoba.

Provide opportunities for re-assessment

Ways to get there…

  • Ensure re-assessments are available on an on-going basis so applicants can complete the process efficiently

Applicants who do not meet the requirements for recognition have the opportunity to repeat the process of gap training and re-assessment until they are successful.
